A new addition to the International calendar, the Junior World Series will be taking place in South Africa in 2012. There will be 4 categories participating in the inaugural tournament namely Boys 12 and Under, Boys 14 and Under, Boys 16 and Under as well as the Girls 16 and Under. On behalf of Action Sports SA and the SAICF, we would like to congratulate the following people on their appointment into the various positions. The Junior World Cup will be hosted in South Africa from the 29th September - 6th October 2012. After a successful Seniors World Cup and the tremendous support we received during the World Cup, we are sure that we can break the Australian stranglehold on the World Cup and even keep a trophy or two behind. Here are the Coaches and Managers for the Junior World Series:
We wish them well and bring us some trophies.... The Masters World Series will be held next year in Sri Lanka. The Dates have yet to be confirmed. We are in the process of looking for Coaches and Managers for the following teams : Over 30, Over 35, Over 40, Over 45 and Over 30 Ladies. Should you be interested in coaching or managing one of these teams, please send your CV to Ray Lourens on ray@actionsports.co.za. These need to be in before the 30 March. WE HAVE MOVED DATES!!!! FROM MARCH TO MAY 2012 The National Ladies Tournament turns 19 this year and we are going to celebrate in style!!! FORMAT OF TOURNAMENT: The National Ladies Tournament will be played in the following categories: Teams will be playing for the prestigious Floating Trophies in each sport and category, as well as Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals. All the games will be played on a single Round Robin Basis followed by Semi Finals, Preliminary Finals and then Finals. COST PER TEAM: Players may only play for one team and sport in the Tournament.

On behalf of Action Sports and the South African Indoor Cricket Federation, we would like to congratulate all those boys chosen to represent South Africa in New Zealand during the July Holidays. They did us proud by winning both series in the Under 13 and Under 15 category. |
